My daughter needed an assessment at the Dental Service at Sale Hospital due to  her disability. We waited 2 months for the appointment. We then needed a referral to the Dental Hospital in Melbourne which was done within a week. We found the staff very helpful and the service was timely for us.

Hello victorca58,

I am Rachel, the Director for our Community & Allied Health services that includes our public dental service. It was pleasing to hear that the assessment and referral for your daughter could be provided in a timely way. We are very fortunate that we have been able to maintain our wait lists for appointments for children and vulnerable clients to a minimum. Generally wait lists can be quite long which is not always satisfactory.

Our dental team are very committed to providing good quality services to our community and prioritising access to appointments where we can.
