Rebranding to Care Opinion Australia in 2020

Update from Care Opinion Australia

Posted by on

About: Australia

With most countries now moving towards an integration of health and social care, I am excited to announce that we will be merging our two brands, Patient Opinion and Care Opinion, into a single integrated and simplified service.

Patient Opinion has always been a platform for sharing the experiences of patients however, many people within hospitals do not see themselves as patients, such as people with lived experience of mental health concerns.

From March 2020, we will be operating as Care Opinion Australia for all care services, including hospitals, aged care, disability and community/social services. Alongside the name change, you will also see a fresh colour palette and logo.

So, what does this mean for you?

We are adopting a phased approach to the rebranding project to allow subscribers to transition their own consumers to the change. A soft launch will commence in March 2020 in lieu of a formal launch in May 2020 when we welcome the CEO of Care Opinion in the UK, Dr James Munro and National Clinical Director of the Scottish Government, Professor Jason Leitch to Australia for a series of events across Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.

For more detailed information about what this means for you, please see attached our Frequently Asked Questions, which includes information about how to manage the ordering and use of existing Patient Opinion-branded materials.

We recognise that change often brings apprehension and I assure you that you will be kept informed over the coming weeks and months as the implementation of the project progresses.

In the meantime, you are welcome to reach out to our Client Liaison Officer, Bec Somerville at info@careopinion.org.au or phone 07 3354 4525.
