People access content differently on the web - content needs to be skimmable and concise to create the impact and interaction it deserves.
Responding on Patient and Care Opinion has always been about content and connection rather than presentation. We still think content is the most important aspect of a response, but a little bit of formatting goes a long way.
We've upgraded the responding experience across all subscriptions by introducing a toolbar:
Responders can now make text bold and italic as well as easily add hyperlinks. We've also added undo and redo buttons to make it easier to reflect and evolve a response while writing.
But that's not all...
At Patient and Care Opinion we're always listening to our users' ideas for enhancements and tweaks to the platform - after all:
If you're not moving forward then you're going backwards
Adding images to responses is something that's come up quite frequently and we think it has enormous value. Not only can the storyteller read about their change - they should be able to see it.
So that's what we've done.
Starting today, a limited subset of subscriptions in the UK and in Australia are piloting a new feature which allows them to embed images directly in their response. Got a new trolley to go around the ward? We want to see!
