Following our recent online forum, we are pleased to announce the release of an Expression of Interest (EOI) for participation in a new voluntary working group focused on developing a co-designed governance model for person-centred feedback.
This initiative is a vital step towards enhancing the integration and impact of consumer feedback within health, aged, disability and community care settings. The Care Opinion team envisage that the small Working Group will co-design a governance framework that will be used by service providers to enhance the management and integration of relational feedback within care settings.
The working group will convene quarterly for one to two hours virtually, with ongoing communication and actions occurring out-of-session. Time zone differences across Australia are taken into account when meetings are booked.
The primary objective will ensure the framework will guide service providers as they develop and embed systems for collecting, analysing and responding to consumer insights and experiences concerning their care within the organisation.
The secondary objective is to empower services utilising the Care Opinion platform to seamlessly and systematically integrate relational, person-centred feedback into their policies, processes, systems, and daily care practices.
The working group could also at a later time help inform the co-design a series of learning modules that equip service providers with essential tools and knowledge to effectively respond to and leverage this feedback, ensuring it influences operational decisions and enhances both person-centred care and service delivery.
We invite staff within Australian health service organisations and consumers to join this important initiative.
