‘The purpose of patient feedback: how does public online feedback address the missing link?’

Wednesday 28 April 2021 3 pm – 5 pm (AEST)

Living with the challenges of a global pandemic, it’s clear that our health and wellbeing is a top priority.

As our online engagement increases it’s inevitable that the voice of consumers will become stronger across this space and in the context of healthcare, the realm of online public feedback is bigger than simply allowing for ratings. It’s about being able to tell a story that commends quality care or drives quality improvement to truly make a difference.

Now, more than ever, patients and consumers are imperative in driving change across Australia’s healthcare system. Embedded in governing frameworks such as Standard 2 ‘Partnering with consumers’ in the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards, health services need to be proactive in demonstrating how they effectively engage and consult consumers to better service provision and quality of care.

For years, traditional feedback mechanisms have been used to gain insights into patient experiences, however, is this enough? Join us on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 (3 pm to 5 pm AEST) as we present our virtual conference - ‘The purpose of patient feedback: how does public online feedback address the missing link?’.

Bringing together comprehensive insights from across Australia and the UK, this panel-based conference will answer our conference topic and will highlight the importance of consumer engagement online. With national and international speakers, our special guests include Dr James Munro, Chief Executive of Care Opinion UK and Prof. Jason Leitch CBE, National Clinical Director of the Scottish Government, Directorate of Healthcare Quality & Improvement, and many more.

Secure your registration today and visit our webpage to learn more about our event details, learning objectives and speakers.

We look forward to welcoming you on Wednesday, April 28, 2021!
