"Paeds Ward Hedland Health Campus"

About: Hedland Health Campus / Paediatric Unit

(as the patient),

We arrived to the emergency department. Our two-week-old boy was breathing funny and hard to settle. We were admitted straight away and seen by ED doctor and nurses after a quick check over of the baby. The on-call paed was contacted and came in straight away.

After full assessment and blood work, we were transferred to the paed ward. Over the next four days and nights, the staff were very attentive to the baby's condition, contacting the doctors multiple times to make sure everything that could be done was being done and to ask advice on current stats and conditions.

All but one doctor was very good at keeping us updated with treatment and progress, making us feel better about our baby's situation.

Big thanks to staff for the care of our baby and us.
