(as a parent/guardian),

The care team was very helpful. They helped me and my daughter relax before her surgery and be calm. They checked all her details and shared openly about the surgery procedure. They all did a fantastic job pre surgery and I am thankful for their care for my daughter and myself. I felt they went out of their way to ensure my daughter was settled, giving her stickers, colouring books and caring for her overall health. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this hospital and the care team here. Everyone I saw was friendly and kind. One lady offered me a cup of tea while I was waiting for my daughter to come back from surgery.

I am the Coordinator of Nursing and Midwifery at Kununurra Hospital.

The teams strive to ensure all patients are as comfortable as possible when they are in the hospital as it can feel at times daunting to patients and families. This is especially true when parents have to trust us to care for their kids in theatre away from them.
