"My rehab experience at Logan house rehabilitation Family Units"

About: Lives Lived Well - Logan Family Recovery

(as the patient),

Ok to sum up my experience in Logan house LFR. I am incredibly grateful for my time at Logan House Family Rehabilitation. This program has truly been life-changing experience for me, equipping me with the tools and strategies I needed to make lasting, healthy changes in my life. The combination of interventions like making healthy boundaries, setting my day with routine and structure which is so simple in theory but also teaching me Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, and thinking about a relapse prevention plan has given me a solid foundation for my recovery.

One of the most meaningful aspects of my experience has been the staff members I have encountered, who work for Logan house LFR. I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported me along the way. Your love, respect, and kindness have made such a difference in my life. Thank you for educating me, sharing your wisdom, and always being there with encouragement and understanding. I’m truly grateful for each one of you but especially to Kirsten the team leader, Tenylle support worker who for me gave me so much love, support, encouragement and information to empower myself, seriously you guys are worth more to Logan house because of your presence and passion for your role and Emmanuel he is the perfect example of strong supportive safe male role model you the man eman. This is family friendly and they advocate to child safety on my behalf to have my children visit me in a healthy, supportive environment. Being able to rebuild and nurture my relationship with them has been a huge motivator for me. Logan House has not only supported my individual recovery but also helped me become a better parent.

I am fully committed to being a positive and contributing member of society. I continue to attend ongoing support groups like Lives Lived Well post recovery to ensure I maintain my recovery. I’m also focused on rebuilding my independence by seeking education and study to one day in the future gain employment. Every day I am working toward a brighter future for myself and my family, and I couldn’t have come this far without the support I received at Logan House and my loved ones .

Kindly

Dear pegasusjn35,

Firstly, thank you for your willingness to share your story. It is just so encouraging to read how much you got out of the program at Logan Family Support. It really does show you that with the right tools, people can change their lives. You are testament to that.

It sounds like you really threw yourself into the program and took everything you could from it. Well done. It's lovely that you found meaningful friendships in program, especially with the 'love, respect and kindness' you received from staff, (especially Kirsten).

What is also very powerful is the fact that your words might help someone else take the first step into treatment, so again thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Take up the Post Recovery groups and keep learning, keep abstinent, get studying and enjoy your new life.

All the best,

LM
