"Positive experience after inaccurate pregnancy sizing scan"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

Following our previous negative experience which can be read here. We thankfully had a private midwife that was able to book us in to see one of the consultants at Bunbury. Dr Steph was incredibly empathetic to our situation and managed to book us into a scan at Vestrum.

Dear starpq55,

Thank you for taking the time to update your story in Care Opinion. I have read your other post and I am sorry you had such a difficult time with your initial ultrasound and then to source a second opinion. I can only imagine how stressful it must have been for you and your partner to be faced with being told "your baby's head is off the chart", and then having to navigate making decisions upon this information.

I am really pleased that Dr Steph was able to assist and make further arrangements at Vestrum for a follow up scan. I will pass on your kind words and an update of your birth outcome. Although you haven't elaborated on your birth experience, I hope all went well and you and your family are settling in at home.

Thank you again and take care,

Katrina
