"Cared for and safe"

About: Jurien Bay Health Centre

(as the patient),

I have just returned from the UK on the Tuesday. I was fine until the Saturday. I started to feel unwell that evening.

I left things until 1:00 am Monday. I went to the Medical Centre in Jurien Bay. I have never attended this clinic before. I was greeted by nurses Ann and Tilly. All the time feeling very ill. I also had a bad urine infection.
Ann and Tilly were very friendly, and advised me of what they were going to do. Ann explained that they don’t have a Doctor on site and I would see a Dr by telehealth.

I was put on a drip for 2 hours.

All the time Ann and Tilly made sure I was comfortable, asked me if I was ok.

I felt very cared for and safe.

Both nurses were brilliant, very professional and very catering.

Dear Revarose,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the Jurien Bay Health Centre.

I’m pleased to hear that you felt safe and well cared for during such a difficult time and that our nursing team provided professional and compassionate care. I have shared your kind words with the nurses and added my own appreciation for the great work they do for the community.

The WACHS Emergency Telehealth team play a vital role in supporting regional staff, and it’s great to hear that they helped facilitate a clear plan for your care, ensuring timely treatment.

I hope you’re now feeling better and able to reflect on your holiday memories with enjoyment.

Warm regards,

Kumar Deep
