"Disappointed at treatment"

About: Royal Perth Hospital / Stomach, Bowel and Liver Care (Gastroenterology and Hepatology)

(as a parent/guardian),

My child has been seeing the gastro team at RPH for 18 months and we have got nowhere. 

They have had 5 procedures numerous admissions and has lost 14kg, my child gets a call to say they think they have the diagnosis wrong and they will get an app for a surgeon in 'a few months".

My child asks about their weight loss as they are concerned as we all are to be told: oh it's okay you see the Dietician next month.

We informed the team on their last admission this is starting to affect my child's mental health but then they get treated like this, I feel it's absolutely disgusting and sub standard care.

I will work extra shifts if I have to so my child can see someone private, your services really really need looked into and quickly.
