"Rottnest Island Nursing Post and RFDS 1-3am, February 2025"

About: Rottnest Island Nursing Post Royal Flying Doctor Service

(as the patient),

1am earlier this month I became suddenly ill at Rottnest Island. We called the emergency number and 2 wonderful nurses (1 male and 1 female - I'm so very sorry I don't remember your names) came out to Geordie Bay and took me back to the Nursing Post.

I was thorough assessed and was then airlifted by the RFDS back to Perth.

The RFDS Dr was called Peter, there was a wonderful Nurse and a fabulous pilot (so very sorry I don't remember your names).

I would like to SINCERELY thank all these people, who were not only incredibly friendly and professional, they made me feel very safe and well looked after.

Dr Peter, you were right, it was my gallbladder, which was successfully removed the next night at SJOG Murdoch.

Thanks again, Quokka
