"Child health care nurses"

About: Pilbara Population Health

(as a parent/guardian),

Every time I have seen the child health nurses at population health in karratha has been an awesome experience. They have all been so patient and receptive to my concerns and definitely made me feel more confident as a parent.

I loved the new parents group they ran, Amanda created a safe environment to connect with other new parents! I am so appreciative of every nurse I have encountered there, it feels like they really do care about the well-being of myself and my baby.

My only complaint would be that there is such a long gap between appointments of the 4 month and 12 month check up, I feel there needs to be something in between. Nothing but praise for the team there, they have really empowered me as a mother.

Dear 72sept,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with the child health team within Pilbara Population Health - Karratha. It’s truly heartwarming to hear that our nurses have provided you with such supportive and reassuring care. We are especially glad that you found Amanda’s new parents’ group helpful in creating a safe space to connect and gain confidence in your parenting journey. I'll be sure to pass on your positive feedback.

Your comments regarding the gap between the 4-month and 12-month Universal Child Health Schedule check-ups is greatly appreciated. Please know our team is always available for additional support, with walk-in child health clinics available on Monday mornings in Population Health - Karratha.

Once again, thank you for your kind words and constructive feedback. It means a lot to our team to know that their care is making a positive impact. We hope to continue supporting you and your little one in the months and years to come!

Warm regards,
Chantelle Pears
