(as the patient),

I booked myself in at the breastfeeding centre at KEMH as I was having difficulty breastfeeding my 8 week old and suffered from low supply as well. Emiko, our lactation consultant was amazing! She listened to all my concerns, assessed my daughter and provided fantastic advice on how to help with any issues.

As a first-time mum, I know very little about breastfeeding and felt very overwhelmed. Based on my experience, the support from the breastfeeding centre is incredible. The staff person on the phone immediately booked me for the earliest appointment taking in consideration that we will soon be moving to Karratha. Highly recommend this amazing resource available for new mums and really grateful for Emiko’s help and guidance in this breastfeeding journey.
