About: SMHS Rehabilitation In The Home (RITH)

(as a service user),

I had a hip replacement in November and was home by early December. Then your team came to see me twice, which was really good, along with the physio. I’m really on the mend now. I’m so glad you have this follow-up service.

I live on my own - I’ve always been independent. I’m 80, but I’ve always been very physically active, doing gardening and so on. I was so glad to have those girls come; they were absolutely lovely.

I was tickled pink when I found out such a thing existed! Everything has gone well, and it gave me so much confidence.

I hope this service continues. I know it must cost a bit to run, but the whole thing is wonderful. I really hope it carries on.
