About: Albany Health Campus / Maternity Ward Positive Birth Program

(as the patient),

I delivered my baby boy at Albany hospital in early December. The midwives (particularly Chris, Alex and Carol) and GPO (Dr David) were outstanding. They were clearly focused on the best outcomes for me and my baby, and all had beautiful bedside manner. I am so grateful for their care.

I also wanted to mention the hypnobirthing program I participated in leading up to the delivery. Kasey and her team of midwives did a brilliant job bringing the viedolink classes to women from all corners of the state. I found the techniques and insights incredibly useful and the stories included were very inspiring. I'd encourage all women and birth partners to participate!

I am so pleased to hear that you found the WACHS Parent Education provided by Telehealth helpful in the preparation and birth of your little boy. I hope that the tools continue to be a supportive to you throughout your transition into parenthood and beyond. We also feel inspired when we hear back from families like yourselves, so thank you again so much for taking the time to share with us, I will be sure to share this feedback with our parent education team and Albany maternity.
