My partner of 30 plus years presented to the Emergency Department at Prince of Wales Hospital Randwick, unable to breathe. Thanks to the incredible knowledge and skill of the doctors and nurses it was established that he needed an emergency tracheostomy and then a rather large tumour removed from his vocal cords. He then spent close to a week in intensive care. I have nothing but thanks and gratitude for everyone we encountered during his stay. The doctor's with their skill and immediate action, and excellent communication. The nursing staff for their care, compassion and efficiency. The administration staff for making everything that little bit easier. From our daughter and I, thank you for allowing us to keep him. You are all absolute champions and we are lucky to have you in our health system. We are extremely lucky to have this wonderful service in this country.
