Recently, I was admitted into King Edward Memorial Hospital for the induction of my son. My waters were broken about 7.30pm and I gave birth at 11.29pm that night.
The staff within the AMGP made me feel so comfortable and at ease and they kept me informed every step of the way, using language I could understand, which assisted greatly in avoiding any unnecessary stressors from a lack of understanding or unknowing. These women were amazing! The care that both my baby and I received leading up to and after the birth was exceptional!
I truly feel that if it weren't for this service, my experience wouldn't have been as positive as it was and I'm so grateful that I was able to utilise it. Everything from transport for appointments that I needed to attend to required blood testings for my baby after his birth, I was assisted in more ways that I knew I could ask for and the difference that that made was tremendously helpful. I'll forever be grateful for all their time, dedication and attention to detail solely for my benefit to have a happy and healthy family.
"Pregnancy, delivery and continued care for both pre and post birth."
