"Physiotherapy"

About: Moora Health Service / Outpatient Services

(as the patient),

Based on my experience, why is it so hard to get an appointment?

Why is there only one brilliant over worked physiotherapist?

He does a brilliant job but I feel he needs better support and more staff to share his workload before he burns out and the Wheatbelt misses out on his brilliant service.

Dear Comet

Thank you for taking the time to post your care opinion. It is wonderful to hear that you have received a good service by our physiotherapist in Moora. I will pass on your compliment to him.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Physiotherapist in Moora, but due to the high demand for healthcare professionals across Western Australia, we’ve faced challenges in attracting applicants for this position. Please be assured that we remain committed to filling this role and are continuing our efforts to recruit an additional physiotherapist.

We continue to support the remaining physiotherapist as wellbeing of our staff is one of our priorities. We have done this by various support measures including mentoring by an experienced physiotherapist from another district and offering videoconference clinics.

With best wishes.

Regina Michel-Huessy

Director Population Health
