I recently gave birth at Broome Hospital and was lucky enough to be a patient in the MGP Program. My assigned midwife was Yvonne, who was absolutely incredible. She was organised, attentive, extremely informed, and very warm. She had the rare quality of being very encouraging but not at all pushy.

Although my birth did not go the way I had planned, I felt so supported by the Midwifery team, Doctors and Yvonne during the process. I felt that they were respectful of my wishes, gave me the relevant information at the right times, and gave me space at the right time. The care after birth was also outstanding. I found the midwives and nurses understanding and caring. 

Based on my experience, I highly recommend the Broome Hospital Midwifery Team, and am grateful for their top notch care in a regional area.
