I recently gave birth at the Family Birth Centre at King Edwards Memorial Hospital in Subiaco, Perth (I had already gone through them once in 2020 and had a wonderful experience).
I felt very safe and looked after by my midwife Olivia, who was with me every step of the way and I really enjoyed building a trusting relationship with her over the course of our appointments leading up to the birth. There were a few things that did not go to plan during my planned natural water birth, but Olivia put my mind at ease, explained everything thoroughly and was always happy to answer any questions or concerns I had or bring out some alternative option for a plan B. I'm truly grateful I had her as my midwife.I would highly recommend the Family Birth Centre at KEMH!
