"Rude and uncaring experience"

About: Armadale Hospital / Canning Medical Ward

(as a relative),

I want to report this unprofessional rude uncaring clinician who is working in canning ward in Armadale Hospital.

The clinician talk to my parent in a seemingly racist rude annoyed tone with absolutely no manner, called my parent an old f****** jerk. I know my parent can act a bit odd with people they don't  know, they got dementia!

However, how can a clinician who supposed to be professional act like that, call my parent names, joke about their memory, even tell them no one care about them otherwise you won't be end up in hospital, alone with no one visit you, also I recall they said 'f***, why you take so many medications, there are too much work for me, feel so stressed out working for this kind of patient', blah blah. I just go to kiosk get something for my parent, when I return to their room, that's what I heard.

Why did the clinician need to say those stuffs to my parent, my heartache, tears running down my eyes, what make a civil servants treat their fellow citizen like that....how dare they. I wonder did they got other complaints as well. I am extremely worried about other elderly patients on that ward!

When I walk in my parent's room, I tell them off, the clinician say 'hold on, you no need to be aggressive toward me.' I just tell them off. I asked my parent are you ok? My parent said the clinician acts a bit funny but they are ok. I felt so upset and hurtful. Feel like cannot trust any staffs any more in that hospital

My parent got dementia live at home alone, one evening they felt sick, chest pain and feverish after tea, my parent called me then I called an ambulance to bring them to Armadale hospital, after go through Ed and other ward, my parent end up in canning ward, nursing care is acceptable.

Dr are very keen to make my parent feel better again, thanks for that. In my opinion, I think the big boss like ceo need to do something about the seemingly racist bad rude unprofessional behaviour. I don't want to see them again in that hospital in case my parent need to go there again. I wish my parent can choose to go private hospital but we cannot afford it.
