About: Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department Busselton Health Campus

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter had serious abdominal pain, we went to Busselton hospital who diagnosed appendicitis and then transferred to Bunbury hospital. The care and attention from all staff, surgeons, doctors, nurses and admin staff was excellent.  Her surgery kept getting pushed back due to limited resources and emergencies however we were always informed and her comfort level, pain relief and acuteness was always monitored. I can't thank everyone enough for their expertise, attention and care factor.

Dear AnnonymousGG

I hope that your daughter has now recovered well from her surgery.

Thank you for your positive comments regarding the care you received. Unfortunately, we cannot predict emergencies which often result in delays for other patients. I am happy to hear that the team kept you well informed and your daughter well managed for pain and comfort levels.

Once again, I do hope your daughter's recovery is smooth and she returns to life as normal as soon as practical

Many Thanks

Karen Horsley
