My wife has been receiving care from the Transitional Aged Care Program from Prince of Wales Hospital. Next week will be the last week.
We have nothing but to give them the highest regard and thanks for their service and help. It’s really excellent and I’m really impressed by the government that they can provide such a service. Without this service, I think it would be really tough for my wife. I’m glad the government is providing this program, it is a very, very useful program to help out the patient. We are waiting for the home care package, but this can take some time to come through and this is a really really great help.
The team leader, is Faye, and she leads a team of 3 other women to come to our place. The physiotherapist is Jess and the occupational therapist is Genevieve and another by the name Hannah comes to help with showering and all those kind of things and occasionally take us to Prince of Wales Hospital. All the four ladies work together to perform their role in an excellent way. I think they should be praised for their work.
My wife would like to say something: I just want to add on, Faye, the nurse who is the leader of the team, it’s not that just myself praise her, it’s actually the other members of the team, they all spoke highly of her. I believe she’s really an excellent leader, and always really helpful and a good organizer. Really kind and a good organizer. We had no hiccup from her. The rest of the members are also very kind.
