This is as I remember and have been informed as I currently have a head injury as a result of this event/s.
I Arrived at ED, whom were informed of my arrival from my GP office: witnessing multiple staticus-epilepyicus seizures and needed to be seen to.
Instead, I recall a staff member at reception insisted on me wearing the blood oxygen measure and following the usual check in procedure while already having an unresponsive staticus-epilepyicus seizure which then turned into a tonic-clonic seizure.
This happened 8 minutes after arriving despite the hospital and reception being informed of my impending arrival and seizing.
Thankfully a competent nurse/s and doctor/s got involved and I was taken though to ED. (Thank you!)
After some battle seizing and being given everything under the sun I later died and was resuscitated and placed into and induced coma.
I was then flown by Royal flying doctors (Thank you!) to Perth (and helicoptered? Thank you!) to the hospital for appropriate care.
A doctor that night at Albany campus said the 8 minutes (i.e. before I was having a tonic-clonic seizure) said I could have faired better if I was seen earlier.
So what does it take to get seen to at hospital... Even seizures in the waiting room seemingly aren't enough?
This is the second time I feel I have been a victim of one apparently incompetent employee at Albany Campus, both time nearly permanently ending me.
While most the nurses and doctors are absolutely brilliant! I seem to find that one bad apple each visit.
Sorry to the doctors and nurses who saved my life. Please don't take offense.
