"Kidney GFR"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / Campus Centre 2 - Nuclear Medicine Department

(as a service user),

I was referred to PoWH for a kidney GFR from my nephrologist.

From making the booking to leaving the campus after my test the whole time I felt very cared for. I was called to inform that due to a shortage of the radiotracer my appointment needed to happen on the same day as some other patients. I was given ample time to plan around this.

On the day, the information desk was able to give me clear concise directions to nuclear medicine.

At nuclear medicine my check in was quick and efficient. There was some waiting involved before I received my injection, but we mentioned earlier, it was a busy day for the staff.

The lovely technician did my injection and subsequent blood tests 2hrs and then an additional 1hr after.

I want to commend all staff involved for a seamless and efficient experience.
