"Rottnest Island Nurses post"

About: Rottnest Island Nursing Post

(as the patient),

I sprained my ankle and the amazing staff I saw at the Rottnest Island nursing post were just amazing.

They went above and beyond to assist me..making me feel safe secure and helped. They visited me in my cottage as I couldn't walk there.

They loaned me pair of crutches while I was on the Island and fitted bandages on my ankle.

They checked up on me aswell.

I have had to pop into the nurses post a few times over the years on Rottnest and every time they have been amazing, even when very busy as they can be in summer and on weekends.

Always so friendly, proactive and useful.

I don't want to sound like an advertisement but this service is so important and valuable for those who visit and I guess love on the island

Shout out to Naomi and Claire

Thanks to the whole team I saw.

When people are hurt and in distress I believe they know how to make you feel better.

Dear couragegh46,

Thank you for your Care Opinion post and apologies for the delay in responding to you.

I know that the nurses at the Rottnest Island Nursing Post are all highly skilled and go to great lengths to assist injured and unwell people especially when they are far from home and unsure of the local health processes. It is always lovely to receive confirmation of this from members of the public like yourself though.

I have ensured that the team (including Naomi and Claire) at Rottnest Island Nursing Post have read your compliment, with my added thanks.

Kind regards,

Neil Doverty
