My mum has recently been monitored by the heart failure app and thanks to the wonderful and dedicated nurses from the Community Management Centre under Heartlink. One afternoon, mum wasn’t feeling well, experiencing a worsening cough and persistent vomiting for about two days. I decided to call an ambulance when she started feeling dizzy.
After I made the ambulance call and before we arrived at the emergency department, I received text messages and a phone call from a nurse following up on mum. She mentioned that she will drop by to visit mum, which I did not expect at all, and said it’s good to connect a face to a name. While in the emergency department, she checked on my well-being, going the extra mile by offering to get me food in case of a long wait, and she demonstrated a highly professional approach. Both my mom and I felt truly cared for.
This nurse is Susan. Therefore, a big thank you to Susan and to all the dedicated nurses who cared for mum at the Community Management Centre. Excellent service!
