"Second Birth at Family Birth Centre"

I had my second baby at family birth centre earlier this month and after a long wait, a day before Induction was planned, I had a very very quick unassisted vaginal birth assisted by my midwife Sarah. 

She was amazing! Can’t recommend her enough. Compared to my previous birth, she regularly checked in at end of pregnancy as I was having issues flipping breach baby and she’d also be super supportive and informative at all appointments reassuring me and answering all my questions. Then when I was showing signs of labour again continued to check in and put me at ease.

During the birth she made sure I was looked after, coming up to king Eddie’s with me, helping us with breast feeding and transition to the ward. Then post birth came out to home visits and continued to text and check in regularly and monitor concerns feeding and jaundice, even texting today on her first day of annual leave. She’s put me at ease and reassured on many occasions. She’s asset to FBC.
