"Transferred to Korumburra Hospital"

About: Korumburra Hospital

(as the patient),

I had a major surgery on my right hip at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne and was transferred to Korumburra Hospital for follow-up treatment which included intravenous antibiotics delivered twice a day via a PICC . The nursing staff were amazing and they treated me with respect and kindness, They answered all my questions and went above and beyond in my treatment. The catering staff were also kind and understanding and tried extremely hard to meet my needs.

Dear Peacock,

Hoping that your recovery is progressing well, you certainly have been on a significant health care journey, with all that you have shared. I am pleased that our nursing and catering teams have treated you with the respect and kindness that you deserve and have focused on meeting your individual needs. Communication is so important for people during their health care experience, so it is pleasing that our nurses got this right for you! I will be sure to provide your feedback to them, and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

Kind Regards
