I woke up unwell one morning and my husband kept saying to go to the hospital but I said no I’ll be fine. I ended up going to the hospital around in the early morning and within 20 minutes I was seen to and had nurses sticking drips in me. I ended up staying there for a week and a half!
I think it’s really well run. The lady in emergency she was lovely, they were very efficient, I cant fault them they were really friendly and helpful. The tea ladies were always telling me to eat, they were really attentive and friendly.
They’ve had some agency nurses who have came over for a month or so to fill in for other ladies and nurses on holidays. I remember there was one lady from Timor, another from Melbourne staying for a month and they all seemed to know their job. You didn’t feel like saying what are you doing now, they just knew what they were doing and explained what they were doing and why doing it is good.
The doctors I saw were good too, they know who you are and what you’re there for. They didn’t walk in and go “oh what are you in for”, they already knew and they went to the effort of knowing. So I just wanted to call up because they sent me this letter asking for feedback. It was as good a time as it could be in a hospital. So thank you.
