I recently had a day procedure at Swan Hill hospital and I want to express my deepest gratitude to the nursing team. From the moment I arrived, the nurses were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. They made me feel comfortable, well-informed, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire process.

I must say specifically the nurses Leasha and Morgan in the day procedure unit were just wonderful! Their empathy, patience, and expertise truly stood out, turning what could have been a stressful experience into one where I felt supported and at ease. I feel it’s clear that they are dedicated to their patients, and I can’t thank them enough for their exceptional care.

Thank you for everything you do—it makes a world of difference.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent stay with us in our day procedure unit, and I hope you are now well on the mend.

One of our values at SHDH is compassion, and I have been reflecting on your use of the words "kind", "attentive", "empathy", and "patience" and that you were feeling "comfortable, well informed and genuinely care for". Collectively these words truly describe what compassionate care is all about and I am so proud of the nursing staff who helped you have such a good stay and provided exceptional care to you on this occasion. Our nurses come to work each day to provide the best care for the patients who need it, but it isn't every day that we get this type of feedback and praise.

I have passed on your kind words to the team and feel very grateful for having such staff working here, providing high standards of care to our community.
