"Elderly Mum's care at SCGH"

My 97 year old Mum was brought in by ambulance from her nursing home after she had a fall, and was taken into the ED at SCGH. She was seen by nursing staff within 2 hours, and then by a range of doctors over the next few hours. I was amazed by the respect, care, expertise and empathy shown by all members of the nursing and medical team, who spent time explaining everything to us, going through multiple options, and offering detailed advice and guidance. 

I cannot speak highly enough about the excellence of care and the deep respect shown to a very old patient by every member of staff. She was subsequently operated on and spent 2 nights on the orthopaedic ward, where the care was just as exceptional. The hospital should be very proud of its highly skilled and professional nursing and medical staff. Thank you all so much!
