I recently gave birth to my second baby at the RHW Randwick.
All of the staff were so knowledgeable, hospitable and efficient.
My first birth was very traumatic and I have always longed for a healing second birth that goes (somewhat) according to plan.
Special mention to midwife Angela and Student Midwife Clare who were so encouraging and supportive through out the whole birth, I genuinely do not believe that I would have had such a positive experience without them.
How you are treated through pregnancy, labour and post-partum really stays with you forever and you never forget how people in the healthcare system make you feel.
I was also fortunate enough to have been involved in the MAPS program for all my antenatal care and my midwife Jacqueline (Jac) has been so calming, reassuring and responsive through out the entire journey and helped me to believe in myself and my intuition.
So very thankful to all the midwives, from the moment I walked into delivery suite and walked out of the post partum ward everyone has been amazing, could not fault anyone - and that's coming from a self proclaimed firm but fair critic!
