"Time in CCU"

About: Sale Hospital / Critical Care Unit

(as the patient),

Im an indigenous person,I was transferred from another hospital to Sale Hospital CCU with influenza A and diabetic ketoacidosis. I was very sick and frightened, my thinking was messed up, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't move much or walk and I didn't understand what had happened to me. The first 24 hours are a blur, but I slowly improved thanks to the care i received  from the amazing CCU Nurses.

All the staff I saw were brilliant. One Nurse named Jessie was really kind and helped me get through some scary stressful moments.

Thankyou to everyone for taking care of me.
