"A cataract operation"

About: Leongatha Memorial Hospital

(as the patient),

I was very nervous about having this procedure, but all the nurses and the anaesthetist at the Leongatha hospital took great care of me and reassured me. The surgeon, Dr M, did an excellent job, as 2 days later you can hardly tell which eye was done. I didn't feel any pain at any stage, except for a gritty sensation on the first day.

All in all, it was a much better experience that what i anticipated, and i will have no apprehension when the time come to have the other eye done.
