I entered Lives Lived Well Residential Rehabilitation (Logan House) for drug and alcohol treatment in May 2024, after experiencing significant losses and reaching my rock bottom.
From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, respected, and supported. The initial days were focused on settling in, and I quickly found that the environment was safe and comfortable. As the weeks progressed, I was impressed by the comprehensive offerings of the Rehab Center, which included three classes a day and two check-ins. These sessions were facilitated by skilled social workers and qualified AOD support staff. I also participated in work functions, which helped me stay engaged and responsible.
Adapting to communal living in the Villa, where I shared a room with two others, presented its challenges, but it was an essential part of my recovery journey. The staff at Logan House consistently communicated that they were available to support me 24/7, and they truly meant it. When I faced some issues with other residents and felt unsafe at one point, the staff handled the situation with professionalism and care. I want to extend my gratitude to Connie, Madison, Harley, Emily, and the entire team for their support during that time.
I was fortunate to extend my stay beyond the original six-week program, allowing me to continue my progress at Logan House. The bed space was limited, as it is primarily a six-week program, but my commitment to the program enabled me to continue my recovery.
Throughout my time there, I experienced both ups and downs, but I worked diligently to adhere to the rules, attend classes, participate in work functions, and engage effectively in the program. The quality of support, education, and customer service I received was exceptional.
I was particularly fortunate to be assigned Madison, my Treatment Facilitator. Initially, I was shy and unsure about how she could help me, but as I attended classes and had one-on-one meetings with her, I formed a strong connection. Maddie is not only a hard worker and caring professional but also an excellent problem solver. Her dedication to her work, both with me and my peers, has been invaluable. I am truly grateful to have had Maddie as my Treatment Facilitator.
I would also like to recognize the efforts of other staff members, including Andy, Bruce, Nikita, Emily, Niko, Patty, Gemma, Branca, Wendy, Maria, Laura, Lara (Kitchen), Shane, Gary (Kitchen), Erin, Lee, Connie, Loretta, and, of course, Rachel. Additionally, I appreciate the hard work of nurses Lisa and Ledia, as well as Dr. B and counselor Goldy (off-site). Your support has far exceeded my expectations.
Team Leader Jo played an important role during my stay, and while I didn’t have extensive contact with her, she was a great listener and quick to address any issues. Since then, Team Leader Kristine has taken over, and I connected with her immediately. Kristine is a dedicated leader who genuinely cares about the well-being of everyone in the program. Despite her busy schedule, she consistently makes an effort to check in and support us. Thank you, Kristine!
Lives Lived Well Logan House has profoundly changed my life and equipped me with the tools necessary for successful recovery. It is now up to me to implement everything I have learned from this incredible program.
If you or someone you know is struggling and unsure of where to turn, I highly recommend Lives Lived Well (Logan House) for recovery.
Thank you to everyone involved!
