About: Royal Perth Hospital / Acute Assessment & Medical Ward 5B & Surgical Ward 5E

(as the patient),

I was recently an inpatient at RPH, admitted through ED. I was cared for in Ward 5A Acute Surgical Unit earlier this month.

I wish to thank the nurses and Surgical Team who cared for me during my stay. I can’t fault the care of my nurses in each shift. They were gentle, efficient and informative. I believe that I was in bed 37? I sincerely hope that these staff get recognized for their hard work and dedication to what is often sadly a thankless occupation.

Dear Happy Bowels

I was very sorry to learn of your deteriorating health requiring admission via the Emergency Department at Royal Perth Hospital, and acknowledge that it would have been a worrying time for you.

However, I was extremely pleased to read that throughout your admission you received gentle and efficient nursing care and were kept informed. I will take great pleasure in sharing your kind words with the medical and nursing staff who were involved in caring for you on the Acute Surgical Unit.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story on Care Opinion. I wish you all the best in your recovery.

Kind regards

Ben Noteboom
