Hello! I’m in my 30s currently thriving at a rehab facility with Lives Lived Well in Chambers Flat.

Before diving into rehab, I had the good fortune of being referred for counseling through this fantastic organization. I did miss my first appointment (oops!), but I eventually got to meet the amazing Goldy, Counsellor Case Manager at Lives Lived Well in Burleigh Heads.

From the moment I walked into our first meeting, I felt right at home. Goldy’s blend of warmth and professionalism made all the difference. She truly knows how to build rapport! Not only was she an attentive listener, but it was clear that she genuinely cared about my journey. Her impressive mix of street smarts and book smarts shone through, making that first session an impactful experience.

Goldy continued to support me over the phone while I prepared for my admission to Logan House Rehab, and her unwavering work ethic kept me feeling positive and motivated.

Now, here I am in my 11th week of rehab! It hasn’t been a walk in the park—there have definitely been ups and downs—but Goldy has been by my side, offering counseling sessions once a week. The level of care and expertise she provides is unmatched compared to what I’ve experienced before. I can confidently say she’s played a pivotal role in my recovery journey so far. I’m excited to keep working with her as I navigate my recovery and set my future goals!

I truly feel blessed and can’t thank Goldy and Lives Lived Well enough for the incredible support they’ve given me.
