"Emergency July"

About: Busselton Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as other),

Took my husband to emergency with a bowel obstruction. There was an air of calm in the waiting room thanks to the calm efficient manner of the triage nurse. Inside the Emergency area, there was also an air of calm. Dr Jim and nurse Amy listened to my husband’s story and acknowledged his previous experience, giving him credit for knowing his own body. They confirmed my husband would need to be transferred to Bunbury.

Dear Iawhmr2021,

I’m glad to hear that your experience in the emergency department was positive! The calm and efficient manner of the triage nurse hopefully helped alleviate some of the stress during a challenging situation. Dr. Jim and Nurse Amy’s attentive approach, acknowledging your husband’s previous experience, is commendable. It’s essential to have healthcare professionals who listen and provide reassurance. Thank you for sharing your story!

Sincerely Dan
