"Excellent Care received"

I'd like to commend Leongatha Hospital on the excellent care provided to our family recently, when my daughter had a adenotonsillectomy.

Right from reception, to pre-op checks and procedures, to the surgery, and post-op care received on the day and overnight, we could not fault a thing and would like to commend the excellent work of all staff.

A big thank you to the ladies who checked us in; to the anesthetist Dr Elise, and pre-surgery staff Hugh and his colleague, who went the extra mile to ensure my daughter was feeling safe, comfortable and cared for; and nurse Kate and others who were with my daughter post-surgery. She was highly emotional and your staff were very caring throughout.

A special thank you for ensuring that her food was all Halal. And another special thank you for providing some food for the accompanying parent, this was a very practical and caring touch for parents who are unable to leave a child while they go get themselves something to eat.

Your facilities were spick and span. The food was of truly excellent quality.

Staff called us a few days after the surgery to make sure our daughter was recovering well.

Keep up the great work, Leongatha Hospital Staff. This was our best healthcare experience ever. Thank you!
