(as a parent/guardian),

We took our baby to St George Hopsital ED and were greeted by beautiful reception staff. We had a beautiful RN at triage who made me feel instantly calm in a stressful situation. We were then taken to the paeds area and greeted by more beautiful staff. So kind, calm and reassuring. As an anxious mum, they made me feel so heard and valid. 

Special thank you to Dr Megan RMO who was so calming and understanding. You are all saints and we can’t thank you enough for checking on our little girl

Emergency Departments can be very busy places at times and your kind-hearted words mean a great deal to our team, as we strive to provide the highest level of care and support to all our patients and their families.

It's always pleasing to receive feedback concerning the efforts of staff within our Hospital. Reading your words, which convey the compassion, support, kindness and understanding you received during what must have been an anxious time for you, truly warmed our hearts. We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have a team of exceptional, caring, and dedicated healthcare professionals at St George Hospital who are wholeheartedly committed to providing holistic and empathetic care.

While thanks are not expected, I am sure that Dr Megan and all the Emergency Department staff involved will greatly appreciate the kind acknowledgement you have given them. I have forwarded your feedback to the Emergency Department Leadership Team to share with the staff that you kindly mentioned.
