Last month we presented to Tom price hospital with our 18 month old son. Our son was lethargic, had a temp of 39.6, He was breathing incredibly hard, and had an oxygen level of 73. The Tom price staff were quick with their actions, giving us all we needed.
During the night we spoke to an online doctor who contacted RFDS to get us to port headland and hospital. the RFDS staff were kind, gentle and made my son and I feel vey comfortable. Once in Port Headland the ambulance staff were all very informative, they looked after us with the transition to the hospital.
Once admitted our son had an IV put in and oxygen was supplied during the whole trip. We were then admitted to the pediatric center where we stayed for a few nights. The staff here felt like family. They always kept us informed and had our son's best interest at the heart. We felt welcome, safe, well looked after. Such a pleasant experience. Thank you to everyone who played apart of our son's recovery.
