Just a very quick one to say thanks to all the staff that looked after my teenage son recently. We brought him in as he was extremely fatigued and starting to become delirious after a week of Inflenza B. It was clearly a very busy day at the hospital, when things weren’t going right for the team, however every one we dealt with was very professional and friendly.
One particular nurse, Jess (I think she works at various different rural hospitals) was, I believe, born to be a nurse. She kept us up to date on delays, and just had a lovely manner about her. The two doctors we saw were also great (one male and one female), and explained things well. The tests that were done were very comprehensive (urine, bloods, nasal swabs, x-rays, numerous neurological tests) were all completed and they left nothing to chance. The lady doctor asked us if we had anymore questions as we were leaving, and told us we had made the right decision bringing our son in. Thanks Bunbury Hospital, ED, you should be proud.
