My breast care nurse Sorsha at the Royal Hospital for Women, she’s only been my breast care nurse for 3 weeks but she does so much for me and continues to do so. I always had heard people saying that they couldn’t have done it or gotten as far had it not been for their breast care nurse, which I never understood, but I understand it now.
The pain manager in the Pain Clinic, Doctor Chimene, she’s amazing and always makes me feel at ease each time I speak with her or have an appointment with her.
I saw Gemma, the nurse at the pre admission clinic, who does all the ECG and blood pressure work and she was lovely, we chatted and had a laugh.
I was taken for the operation in the Royal Hospital for Women. In the day surgery unit in the pre admission there was a nurse called Rachel. I was so anxious worrying about if the surgery was going to fail, and we just had the biggest laugh she was so amazing I forgot I was there for surgery!
I went to recovery in PACU, there was Ciara and Rebecca and they were also lovely.
