A year ago, I had to cease seeing my private Rhuematologist due to their retirement. I was put under a new doctor who told me how very capable they were compared to my ex specialist. Since then I have nothing but trouble.

I am on Rinvoq, a speciality drug that only they can prescribe. The first visit, it took them 3 1/2 weeks to send script which left me unable to walk. When I needed to see them this January at the hospital, I was continuously refused appt 'cos' apparently they were only seeing 2 new patients!

When I finally got to see them a couple of months ago, I recall I got a huge lecture from them on how irresponsible I was not getting an appt in Jan. I felt they would not listen to my attempts to explain I was knocked back for an appt on multiple time. I was also told it would be another 3 week before I got the script for Rinvoq. This never happened when I was a private patients. Now I have no pills for god knows how long + Dr seemingly blames me! I never want to run out, the pain is too bad.
