I feel like I wasn't being heard I was miserable and in pain, you could see I was so dehydrated from throwing up for weeks and not being able to keep food down I didn't want to go to ED but I couldn't function anymore. My lips, mouth and tongue were cracked and so dry.
When I was finally seen the nurse didn't even give me my ID band I was in ED for a couple hours with no ID band and I have drug allergies. There was no ID or drug allergy check when I was administered pain relief and anti nausea medication.
The Dr did blood tests and told me everything was good (I checked my health record a week later to find everything was not good. Even if they were minor discrepancies in my test I would've liked to be inform)
I ended up lying to them so they would discharge me because I didn't feel safe, I didn't feel heard I didn't want to waste my time...
