"Lovely Homebirth with CMP"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Community Midwifery Program

(as a service user),

I had such a great pregnancy experience with the CMP homebirth program. I felt really supported in my choice to have a physiological birth and was so happy to be able to do this by means of a water birth at home. It was such a calm experience and my midwife Alice along with Mailita and my student midwife did such an amazing job.

The things that stood out to me and my Husband were how calm and peaceful the homebirth environment was especially compared to my hospital birth and I felt well advocated, informed and respected for any of the decisions I made during pregnancy.

I highly recommend this program.

Dear Oceansky55

Thank you for taking the time to provide this wonderful feedback, and congratulations on the birth of your baby. I am delighted to hear that you were well supported by the Community Midwifery Program (CMP) midwives to have had a calm and peaceful homebirth that you hoped for. We are very proud of our (CMP) and the care that they provide to our patients, and we’ll be sure to let Alice and Malita know how much their encouragement, dedication, and effort helped you to feel informed and respected.

Wishing you all the best

Delaney
