"My sick teenager"

About: Cowes Phillip Island Health Hub / Urgent Care Centre

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had been feeling unwell for over a week but didn’t want to see a doctor. He finally felt sick enough on the evening of a public holiday when everything was closed.

I took him to the Cowes Community Hub late afternoon. We were seen immediately by the receptionist who took our details. She was friendly and accommodating. We then promptly saw the triage nurse who was also lovely, kind and understanding.

We were told to take a seat and within minutes we were called in by the Doctor for a consult.

He was thorough and efficient. 

My son was treated with care and respect and was quickly diagnosed. They started treatment immediately and filled out the necessary scripts and sick certificates for when we could leave. 

I want to say thankyou to all the caring staff at the hub, and hopefully we don’t see you again any time soon!
