The nurse came in to my room early in the morning to give me my medications, I had just woke up and was stretching and I recall they said, stop that just take you medications so I can leave. I asked for a feedback form and the nurse was walking down the corridor and I asked them for their name and they said if you’ve come here to abuse me, I was doing nothing of the such, I was simply asking them for their name, in fact I believe the patient they were with would be able to attest this comment.
They told me to go back to my room now, and as I was walking away I recall they said don’t you dare trip this patient over. I was about 5 meters away from them, I was no where near the nurse or the patient. I have heard this nurse on the ward talking to other patients and I believe they are so kind to them, why were they so awful to just me? Is it because I’m gay? Is it because I have a brain injury? I don't understand why they were so mean and snappy toward only me? I just lost my partner a week ago, I’m so fragile right now. Why me? I feel the nurse picked on me for no reason, I did nothing wrong, I had only just woke up.
